Diego is a graphic and colorful sock pattern inspired by Mexico and its iconic cacti.
A sunny, joyful design full of character, created to bring a little color and a sense of escape to your needles.
It comes in 2 sizes: 22, and 25 cm foot circumference.
To choose the right size for you, measure the circumference of your foot at its widest point.
To knit Diego you will need :
- 1 skein of Merino sock fingering for Color A in 50 g (200 m)
- 1 skein of Merino sock fingering for Color B in 50 g (200 m)
- 1 skein of Merino sock fingering for Color C in 20 g (80 m)
- 1 skein of Merino sock fingering for Color D in 20 g (80 m)
- 1 pair of 2 mm circular needles (for the ribbing)
- 1 pair of 2.25 mm circular needles (80 or 100 cm cable for magic loop)
- Stitch markers (optional)
- Tapestry needle
Techniques used : Toe-up cast-on, Judy’s Magic Cast-On, short-row heel, stranded colorwork, Jeny’s stretchy bind-off.
This pattern is perfect for you if you already have some knowledge of these techniques.
